3M 6057 ABE1 Carbon Filters, Pair

3M 6057 ABE1 are replaceable activated carbon gas and vapour filters designed for work environments where organic vapours, inorganic gases or acid gases may be present. The ABE1 / A1B1E1 class means that the filter is intended for protection against organic vapours with a boiling point above 65 °C, as well as inorganic and acid gases.

These filters are suitable for painting, coating, body repair, cleaning, degreasing, working with solvents, thinners, acid gases and other chemicals where gas and vapour filtration is required.

3M 6057 filters use the 3M bayonet connection, making them easy and secure to attach to a compatible respirator mask. They are suitable for use with 3M 6000, 6500QL and 7500 Series half masks, as well as 3M 6000 and FF-400 Series full face masks. The low-profile, balanced twin-filter design helps maintain a good field of vision and comfort during work.

Important: 3M 6057 is a gas and vapour filter, so it does not filter solid particles, dust, mist or aerosols by itself. If dust, paint mist, sanding particles or other aerosols are present, additional particulate filters should be used, for example 3M 5925 P2 filters with 3M 501 retainers, according to the work risk and manufacturer’s recommendations.
