Buff and Shine 803N double-sided cutting–polishing wool pad 220 mm / 8" is a professional double-sided wool polishing pad designed for aggressive paint defect removal with rotary polishers.

This pad is made from 100% natural 4-ply twisted wool. This construction provides strong cutting performance and allows work on heavier surface defects when a standard foam polishing pad or softer pad is not effective enough.

Buff and Shine 803N is designed for aggressive cutting and heavy defect removal. It is suitable for reducing sanding marks, deeper scratches, oxidation, surface dullness, old coating damage and other more visible paint surface defects.

The double-sided construction allows both sides of the pad to be used, making it practical for intensive work. The 1.5" pile height helps improve pad flexibility and durability, while natural twisted wool provides high cutting power.

The pad is designed for rotary polishers. Attachment: 5/8"-11 thread. The manufacturer states that a hex head quick connect adapter is required for use.

This wool polishing pad is suitable for professional automotive paint polishing, paint correction, heavy defect removal, boats, commercial vehicles, heavier surfaces and other painted surfaces where higher cutting efficiency is needed.

After this aggressive cutting stage, an additional medium or finishing polishing step is often recommended to remove possible polishing marks and achieve maximum gloss.

Use:

Attach the Buff and Shine 803N double-sided pad to a compatible adapter and make sure it is securely fitted to the rotary polisher. Use only with a suitable 5/8"-11 attachment and the quick connect type adapter specified by the manufacturer.

Apply a suitable aggressive cutting compound to the surface or pad. Polish while controlling speed, pressure, angle and surface temperature. When working with a rotary polisher, avoid excessive pressure and working too long in one area.

During work, clean the wool pad regularly with a dedicated wool pad cleaning tool, compressed air or another suitable method. A clean pad cuts better, generates less heat and helps achieve a more stable result.

After use, remove compound residue, clean the pad and allow it to dry naturally. Store in a dry and clean place so the wool does not become compressed and lose efficiency.

Note:

This is an aggressive cutting wool pad, so before using it on sensitive, soft, repainted or unfamiliar surfaces, it is recommended to test on a less visible area. After this step, an additional medium or finishing polishing stage may be needed to fully finish the surface.
