CARSYSTEM Fine Line Tape Blue is a professional blue contour masking tape designed to create precise paint edges in automotive painting, body repair and design painting work. It is a flexible PVC-based tape used for straight lines, curved shapes, decorative lines, multi-colour painting and masking complex contours.

CARSYSTEM Fine Line Tape Blue is a temperature-resistant masking tape designed for fine decorative lines and precise, clean paint edges. The tape is highly flexible, water-resistant, offers excellent solvent resistance and can be used on painted metal, rubber, glass and chrome surfaces.

This contour tape is especially useful when standard paper masking tape is not flexible enough or does not allow the surface shape to be followed accurately. Fine Line Tape Blue is well suited for curved lines, narrow contours, edging, decorative elements, two-colour painting and custom design work.

CARSYSTEM Fine Line Tape Blue is a PVC-based contour tape resistant to water, solvents and temperatures up to 155 °C / 1 hour. It is designed for multi-colour and design painting, curves and long straight lines, as well as work on rubber and plastic surfaces.

Thanks to its high flexibility, the tape allows an accurate paint boundary to be created even on complex vehicle body shapes. It adapts well to curves, recesses, edges, rounded forms and profiled surfaces. This helps avoid uneven paint lines and reduces the need for corrections after painting.

Fine Line Tape Blue has low unwind stretch, making it easier to apply in a controlled and precise way. When applied correctly, the tape helps create a clean paint edge, and its resistance to solvents and temperature makes it suitable for professional paint systems, including spray booths and drying processes within the limits of the technical data sheet.

The standard roll length is 33 m, and several width options are available: 3 mm, 6 mm, 9 mm, 12 mm and 19 mm. This allows the correct tape width to be selected according to the job – from very fine lines to wider contours or straight masking edges.

The tape is suitable for use on clean, dry and degreased surfaces. Before application, dust, grease, silicone, wax and other residues that may reduce adhesion should be removed. The recommended application temperature is from +15 °C to +30 °C, and the storage temperature is from +10 °C to +30 °C.

Use recommendations:

Choose the correct tape width according to the desired line or contour size.
Clean, degrease and dry the surface before application.
Remove dust, grease, silicone, wax and other residues that may reduce adhesion.
Apply the tape to a clean and dry surface.
When applying curves, shape the tape evenly and avoid sudden overstretching.
For straight lines, apply the tape steadily, keeping an even direction and tension.
Press the edges well so paint does not bleed under the tape.
