  • E1 100 2K Acrylic Filler Primer 5:1, 960 ml is a professional two-component acrylic primer designed for automotive body repair, surface preparation and priming before painting. It is a filler primer that helps create an even base for the next layers of the paint system.

GOLDCAR 2K 5:1 acrylic primer is a two-component filler primer based on acrylic resin. It is easy to apply, has good filling and sanding properties, and is suitable for manual and machine sanding. The product is also described as having excellent insulation, high filling power, good levelling and soft sanding.

This primer is used when the vehicle body surface needs to be prepared for basecoats, acrylic paints, water-based or solvent-based paint systems. The primer creates an excellent base for all commonly used paint systems: 1K, 2K, water-based and solvent-based paints / coatings.

E1 100 2K Acrylic Filler Primer is suitable for use on automotive body surfaces, steel structures protected with anti-corrosion primers, steel surfaces, polyester-glass laminates, surfaces filled with polyester fillers and hard plastics used in the automotive industry.

Thanks to its filling properties, the primer helps reduce small surface imperfections, pores, sanding marks and minor defects left after filler application or preparation of old coatings. Good levelling helps create a more uniform surface, while soft sanding makes it easier to prepare the primer for the next painting stage.

E1 100 2K Acrylic Primer is suitable for both manual and machine processing. The primer is soft to sand and does not clog abrasive paper. This is especially convenient in car repair shops and body repair workshops where not only surface filling, but also fast and easy processing before painting is important.

The product has anti-corrosion properties and helps provide additional protection for the prepared substrate before further paint system layers. However, like other 2K acrylic primers, it is not a final decorative coating – after curing and sanding, the surface must be coated with a compatible paint system.

This product card is prepared without indicating the primer colour, because the colour will be selected as a product variant. This primer is available in three colours: white, grey and black, and the white, grey and black primers can be mixed together to achieve the desired grey shade.

The set capacity is 960 ml. Product index: VPG-822.961-X01, EAN code: 5906735801958, primer density at 20 °C: 1.55–1.60 g/cm³, hardener density: 0.94–1.01 g/cm³, primer shelf life: 18 months, hardener shelf life: 12 months.

The 5:1 mixing ratio means that the primer must be mixed with a suitable hardener according to the manufacturer’s specified proportion. The correct ratio is important so that the primer cures properly, maintains adhesion, filling properties, sandability and suitability for further painting.

Before use, the surface must be clean, dry, stable and free from rust, dust, silicone, wax, grease and other residues that reduce adhesion. The product, object and environment should be approximately 20 °C, and primer application should be carried out according to the product technical data sheet.
