GOLDCAR EXPRESS Fast Drying 2K HS Acrylic Clear Coat 2:1 with Hardener, 1.5 L is a professional two-component clear coat designed for automotive body clear coating after basecoat application. The set includes clear coat and hardener, making it a complete 2K clear coating system when mixed according to the manufacturer’s specified ratio.

GOLDCAR EXPRESS clear coat is designed to protect the basecoat layer and provide an attractive gloss finish. The clear coat has medium solids content, good levelling, fast drying and increased resistance to chemical and atmospheric factors as well as UV radiation, so it does not yellow.

This clear coat is used when fast and efficient body repair or clear coating work is required. GOLDCAR EXPRESS is especially suitable when shorter drying time, faster preparation of the vehicle panel for further processing and a durable clear protective layer are important.

The main advantages of GOLDCAR EXPRESS clear coat are easy application, exceptional durability of the clear coat layer and short drying time – only 20 min at 60 °C or 3–4 hours at 20 °C.

The clear coat is recommended for use on full panels as well as small surfaces. It is intended for application over water-based or solvent-based basecoats, making it suitable for various automotive paint systems.

The mixing ratio with hardener is 2:1. If higher spray efficiency is required, the clear coat can be thinned up to 10 % with thinner. To improve the gloss effect, GC+ Gloss Stabilizer can be used up to 5 % by volume of the clear coat amount.

GOLDCAR EXPRESS clear coat helps protect the base colour from external factors and gives the surface a clear, glossy and aesthetic finish. It can be used for automotive body panels, local repairs, full panel clear coating and fast refinishing work in car repair shops and body repair workshops.

Because this is a 2K product, the clear coat must be mixed with hardener according to the specified ratio before use. The correct ratio is essential for proper curing, gloss, resistance and mechanical properties. Incorrect ratio, too low working temperature or too thick a layer may affect drying, surface texture and the final result.

The product is not recommended for use below 18 °C. Before application, the temperature of the product, object and air in the spray booth should be around 20 °C. Sudden heating or cooling of the product is not recommended.

Before clear coating, the basecoat must be properly prepared, clean, dry and ready according to the technical recommendations of the selected paint system. The clear coat should be applied using clean painting equipment in a well-ventilated area or spray booth. Since the product is a professional 2K clear coat, suitable personal protective equipment must be used.

Use recommendations:
