GOLDCAR+ EXPRESS Fast Drying 2K HS Acrylic Primer 4:1, 1250 ml is a professional two-component primer and hardener set designed for automotive body repair, paint preparation and surface levelling work. It is a fast drying acrylic primer suitable when repair time needs to be reduced and the surface must be prepared for further painting.

GOLDCAR+ fast drying acrylic 2K primer is supplied as a 1250 ml set, consisting of 1000 ml primer and 250 ml hardener. The product density is 1.46–1.48 g/cm³, colour – grey, shelf life – 12 months, product index VPG-02.092.1250-GCP, EAN code 5906735809152.

This primer has adhesion to steel, aluminium, galvanized steel, polyester laminate surfaces and surfaces covered with polyester fillers. The product is designed for manual and machine processing, dry or wet. When applying 3–4 coats, filling can reach up to 200 µm.

GOLDCAR+ EXPRESS is ideal for fast and small repair work. The primer provides very good anti-corrosion protection, has adhesion to steel, aluminium, galvanized surfaces, polyester laminates and polyester fillers, and is designed for sanding by hand or machine, dry or wet.

GOLDCAR+ EXPRESS 4:1 primer is used in body repair work when, after filling, preparation of old coatings or surface correction, small imperfections need to be levelled, a uniform primer layer must be formed and the surface prepared for basecoat or another compatible coating system.

Thanks to fast drying, this primer is especially useful for local repairs, small body defects, fast preparation before painting and work where shorter process time is important. It can be used in car repair shops, body repair workshops, spray booths and paint preparation areas.

The product is two-component, so before use it must be mixed with the included hardener in a 4:1 ratio. The correct mixing ratio is essential for proper curing, adhesion, sanding and preparation of the surface for further painting stages.

GOLDCAR+ EXPRESS 2K HS primer is not a final decorative coating. After curing and sanding, it should be coated with a compatible paint system according to the technical data sheets of the materials being used. Before applying basecoat, the surface must be properly sanded, cleaned, degreased and dust-free.

Before use, the surface must be clean, dry and free from rust, dust, silicone, wax, grease and other residues that reduce adhesion. Old coatings must be stable and poorly adhering coatings must be removed. If the primer is applied to metal, galvanized surface, aluminium or filler, the selected repair system and technical data sheet instructions must be followed.

Use recommendations:

Before priming, clean, degrease and dry the surface.
Remove rust, dust, silicone, wax, grease and poorly adhering old coatings.
