Goldcar+ Fibreglass Putty with Guide Coat Function is a two-component reinforcing polyester putty designed for automotive body repair and restoration of damaged surfaces. The fibreglass content helps strengthen the repaired area, restore rigidity to the damaged part and provide stronger filling compared to standard universal putty.

This product is described as a reinforcing putty with a guide coat function, suitable for steel, aluminium, galvanized metal and polyester-glass surfaces. It is processed dry by hand or machine, and the light dust created during sanding acts as a guide coat. This helps identify surface unevenness faster, shorten repair time and reduce the need for additional materials.

The putty is suitable for filling cracks, holes, larger uneven areas, dents, damaged zones and weakened body sections. Fibreglass provides additional mechanical strength, making the product especially useful where the repaired surface needs not only levelling but also reinforcement. It can be used on sills, wings, doors, bonnets, boot lids, repaired metal parts and fibreglass / laminate surfaces.

The guide coat function is a major advantage of this product. The light dust produced during sanding helps visually control surface processing and makes it easier to see areas that still need correction. This allows the technician to assess the surface quality during sanding and, in some cases, reduce the need for separate guide coat powder.

Goldcar+ Fibreglass Putty is easy to shape even on more complex body contours. It is designed for dry sanding using hand or machine abrasives.

Use recommendations:

Clean, degrease and abrade the surface.
Remove rust, loose coatings, silicone, wax and grease.
Use only on a dry and properly prepared surface.
Mix the putty thoroughly with BPO hardener according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Apply with a spreader according to the shape and depth of the repair area.
Fill deeper uneven areas or holes in several layers.
After curing, dry sand by hand or machine.
After initial levelling, use a finer finishing putty if needed.
Do not apply directly on reactive primers, 1K acrylic or nitrocellulose products unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer.
