Goldcar FLEX Elastic Putty for Plastic 500 g

Goldcar FLEX is an elastic putty designed for repairing plastic and flexible automotive body parts. The product is especially recommended for plastic bumpers, rigid PVC, ABS plastic, mouldings, trim elements and other plastic parts where the surface may slightly move, vibrate or deform during use.

Goldcar FLEX is a multifunctional putty with very good elasticity, designed for plastic, rigid PVC and ABS elements. It is especially recommended for repairing joints, welded and glued areas. The putty is easy to apply, shape and sand, and it does not clog abrasive paper.

This putty combines filling and smoothing properties, so it can be used both for filling small uneven areas and for final surface levelling before priming or painting. Its good thixotropy makes it convenient to apply even on vertical surfaces, while the optimal consistency allows smooth spreading and a clean transition between the base and the repaired area.

Goldcar FLEX is suitable for repairing scratches, cracks, small dents, surface waves and other typical defects on plastic parts. Due to increased elasticity and mechanical resistance, it adapts better to the movement of plastic parts than standard hard body filler. After sanding, the putty helps create a smooth surface without pores or pinholes.

The putty can also be used on properly prepared metal surfaces, including steel, galvanized steel, aluminium and polyester laminates, but its main purpose is plastic automotive parts. It is a practical choice for car repair shops, body repair workshops, paint preparation areas and technicians repairing bumpers, plastic trim parts or flexible body elements.

Before use, the surface must be clean, dry, degreased and abraded. The putty should be mixed with BPO hardener according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and applied with a spreader in a thin or medium layer. The recommended application temperature is around 20 °C; higher temperatures shorten working time and speed up curing, while use below 15 °C is not recommended.

Use recommendations:

Clean, degrease and abrade the surface.
Remove loose coatings, silicone, wax, grease and dirt.
Use only on a dry and properly prepared surface.
Mix the putty thoroughly with BPO hardener according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Apply with a spreader in a thin or medium layer according to the repair needs.
Do not use too much hardener, as this may affect the final coating.
After curing, dry sand by hand or machine.
Before priming or painting, clean and degrease the surface again.
Use below 15 °C is not recommended.
