  • Goldcar+ Ultra Lightweight Fibreglass Putty is a two-component polyester putty designed for automotive body repair, filling larger uneven areas and reinforcing damaged surfaces. Fibreglass provides additional mechanical strength, while the ultra lightweight formula makes it easier to shape the repaired surface and sand it more comfortably.

The product is intended for steel, aluminium, galvanized metal and polyester-glass surfaces. It is used for large repair work, heavily damaged areas and surfaces weakened after body repair. This putty helps reinforce damaged surfaces and increases the mechanical resistance of the repaired element.

Goldcar+ Ultra Lightweight Fibreglass Putty has a creamy consistency, making it easy to shape even on more complex body contours. It is suitable for working in 2–4 mm layers, spreads well on the surface and allows a strong filling layer to be formed without unnecessary additional weight. Due to its balanced hardness and the possibility of using finer sanding grits, it helps reduce visible transitions between the putty and the repaired surface.

This putty is suitable for sills, wings, doors, bonnets, boot lids, deformed body areas, fibreglass parts and other surfaces that require not only filling, but also additional reinforcement. It can be used for larger uneven areas, cracks, damaged zones and bigger repair sections where standard universal putty may be too heavy or not strong enough.

The product is designed for dry manual and machine sanding. The putty does not clog abrasive paper, so sanding is cleaner and faster. Recommended sanding grit is P120–P320, while P120–P150 abrasives can be used for rough sanding. Thanks to these properties, the putty can be used directly before filler primer when the surface is properly prepared and levelled.

Before use, the surface must be clean, dry, degreased and abraded. The putty should be thoroughly mixed with BPO hardener according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. The recommended mixing ratio is 2–3% hardener by weight, working time at 20 °C is about 5 minutes, filling time about 3–5 minutes, and sanding is possible after approximately 16–30 minutes.
