GoldCar+ Wet on Wet 2K Grey Acrylic Primer with Hardener 1050 ml is a professional two-component acrylic primer designed for automotive body repair, painting and surface preparation work.

This primer is designed for wet-on-wet technology, where the primer can be applied before basecoat or topcoat without intermediate sanding. This helps reduce working time, minimise additional sanding stages and prepare the part for painting faster.

GoldCar+ Wet on Wet primer has filling and insulating properties. Fine-grained fillers help create an even, smooth and paint-ready surface. The product also has anti-corrosion properties, making it suitable for automotive body repair work where surface protection before further painting is important.

The primer can be used for repairing new panels where the electrophoretic-coated substrate does not need sanding, as well as for lightly damaged parts. It is suitable as a filling and insulating layer before basecoat or topcoat.

The product can also be used as a sandable filling primer on parts with small repairs made with polyester fillers, for example transport damage or minor dents.

The primer can be processed manually or mechanically using abrasives designed for dry or wet sanding. Thanks to its properly selected viscosity, the primer is easy to apply, flows well and helps create a smooth coating.

If needed, the primer can be tinted with solvent-based pigment pastes up to 5% to better match the substrate colour to the next painting stage.

Use:

Before use, the surface must be clean, dry, degreased and properly prepared. Remove dust, grease, old coating residues, rust and other contamination that may reduce adhesion.

Prepare the product according to the manufacturer’s technical information and use only with the included or manufacturer-recommended hardener. Mix the components thoroughly until a uniform mixture is obtained.

Apply the primer layer to a properly prepared surface. When using wet-on-wet technology, the primer can be applied before basecoat or topcoat without intermediate sanding, following the recommended flash-off and application times.

If the primer is used as a filling sandable primer, after drying the surface can be sanded manually or mechanically with dry or wet sanding materials.

Before painting the entire part, it is recommended to perform a test and make sure the substrate, primer, hardener and further painting products are compatible with each other.
