RUPES D-A COARSE Extreme Cut Microfiber Polishing Pad is a professional aggressive cutting microfiber pad designed for fast paint defect removal with DA / random orbital and Gear Driven polishing machines.

This RUPES microfiber pad belongs to the D-A COARSE Extreme Cut range and is designed for jobs where maximum defect removal efficiency is required. It helps quickly remove heavy paint defects, sanding marks, deeper scratches, heavier oxidation and other imperfections, especially on fully cured or harder paint systems.

The specialised microfiber material combined with a stable foam interface helps achieve fast cutting performance and good pad control during work. The pad maintains lateral stability, making it suitable for intensive correction polishing when defects need to be removed efficiently from hard, flat or heavily damaged surfaces.

RUPES recommends using this pad together with RUPES D-A COARSE polishing compound. This combination is designed for fast defect removal within the RUPES BigFoot Dual Action polishing system. Depending on the surface condition, an additional finishing polishing step with a softer pad and finishing compound may be required to achieve maximum gloss and a clean finish.

The pad is designed for use with DA / random orbital and Gear Driven polishing machines. It is suitable for the RUPES BigFoot system and other compatible DA polishers when the correct pad size is selected according to the backing plate and working area.

Use:

Choose the correct pad size according to the polishing machine, backing plate and polishing area. Apply a small amount of RUPES D-A COARSE or another suitable heavy-cut polishing compound onto a clean RUPES D-A COARSE Extreme Cut microfiber pad.

Polish small sections using suitable speed, pressure and movement according to the surface condition and compound recommendations. During work, clean the pad regularly with compressed air, a vacuum cleaner or a dedicated pad cleaning tool. A microfiber pad quickly loads with compound and removed residue, so a clean pad works more efficiently and consistently.

After the aggressive correction stage, inspect the surface and, if needed, perform an additional finishing polishing step with a softer RUPES pad and finishing compound.

Note:

Before use on sensitive, very soft, repainted or unfamiliar surfaces, it is recommended to test on a less visible area. The microfiber Extreme Cut pad is aggressive, so it is important to control pressure, speed, pad cleanliness and surface temperature during work. The final result depends on clear coat type, surface condition, polishing compound, machine, pad size and working technique.
