RUPES D-A FINE Microfiber Polishing Pad is a professional microfiber pad designed for paint correction, medium defect removal and high-quality finishing with DA / random orbital polishing machines.

This RUPES D-A FINE pad belongs to the 9.MF Series M range and is designed for work where effective defect removal and good surface finishing need to be combined. It is suitable for removing medium paint defects, swirls, haze, holograms, lighter polishing marks and other visual surface imperfections.

The specialised microfiber material combined with a semi-flexible foam interface allows the pad to better adapt to different vehicle body shapes while maintaining good control during work. This combination provides a balance between cutting efficiency and finish quality, making the pad suitable for both correction polishing and surface refinement.

RUPES recommends using this pad together with RUPES D-A FINE polishing compound. This combination helps quickly remove medium defects and leave a high-quality finish on most paint systems. Depending on the clear coat type and surface condition, an additional finishing step with a softer pad may be required.

The pad is designed for use with Dual Action / DA, Random Orbital and Gear Driven polishing machines. It is suitable for the RUPES BigFoot system and other compatible DA polishing machines when the correct pad size is selected according to the backing plate and working area.

Use:

Choose the correct pad size according to the polishing machine, backing plate and polishing area. Apply a small amount of RUPES D-A FINE or another suitable medium-cut polishing compound onto a clean RUPES D-A FINE microfiber pad.

Polish small sections using suitable speed, pressure and movement according to the surface condition and compound recommendations. During work, clean the pad regularly with compressed air, a vacuum cleaner or a dedicated pad cleaning tool. A microfiber pad quickly loads with compound and removed residue, so a clean pad works more consistently and efficiently.

After polishing, inspect the surface. If maximum gloss is required, especially on dark or softer clear coats, an additional finishing step with a softer RUPES pad and finishing compound is recommended.

Note:

Before use on sensitive, very soft, repainted or unfamiliar surfaces, it is recommended to test on a less visible area. The final result depends on clear coat type, surface condition, polishing compound, machine, pad size, pressure, speed and working technique.
