  • RUPES D-A MEDIUM Wool Polishing Pad is a professional medium-cut wool pad designed for paint correction, defect removal and a good finish with DA / random orbital polishing machines.

This RUPES D-A MEDIUM pad belongs to the 9.NW Series M range and is designed for work where medium paint defects need to be removed while maintaining a cleaner and neater finish than with very aggressive cutting pads.

The wool surface helps effectively remove scratches, medium swirl marks, oxidation, polishing marks and other surface imperfections. At the same time, the flexible yellow foam interface provides better control when working on curved panels, contours and more complex body shapes.

The RUPES D-A MEDIUM wool pad has a uniform 15 mm wool fibre length across the entire working surface. This helps maintain stable performance, more even cutting and a better finishing result on various painted surfaces.

The pad is designed for use with Dual Action / DA polishing machines. It is suitable for the RUPES BigFoot system and other compatible DA / random orbital polishing machines when the correct pad size is selected according to the backing plate and working area.

    Use:

Choose the correct RUPES D-A MEDIUM wool pad size according to the polishing machine, backing plate and polishing area. Attach the pad to the backing plate so that it is properly centred.

Apply a small amount of the selected polishing compound to a clean pad. Polish small sections using suitable speed, pressure and movement according to the surface condition and compound recommendations.

During work, clean the pad regularly with compressed air, a vacuum cleaner or a dedicated pad cleaning tool. A wool pad quickly loads with compound and removed residue, so a clean pad works more consistently, more efficiently and helps achieve a better result.

After the correction stage, inspect the surface. If maximum gloss or a completely clean finish is required, especially on dark or softer clear coats, an additional finishing step with a softer pad and finishing compound is recommended.

    Note:

Before use on sensitive, very soft, repainted or unfamiliar surfaces, it is recommended to test on a less visible area. The final result depends on clear coat type, surface condition, polishing compound, machine, pad size, pressure, speed and working technique.
