  • RUPES High Performance D-A FINE Yellow Polishing Pad is a professional universal foam pad designed for effective polishing of painted surfaces, defect removal and high-gloss finishing.

This yellow RUPES D-A FINE pad belongs to the High Performance foam pad range and is one of the most versatile pads in the RUPES BigFoot system. It is designed for jobs where medium or fine surface defects need to be removed, the painted surface refined and a clean, glossy and neat result achieved.

The D-A FINE pad is suitable for light and medium correction polishing, removal of micro-scratches, light polishing marks, minor oxidation, holograms and other finer defects. It can also be used as a final step after more aggressive polishing when surface gloss, clarity and visual cleanliness need to be improved.

RUPES recommends using this pad together with the yellow RUPES D-A FINE polishing compound. This combination is suitable for removing medium and fine defects, refining painted surfaces and achieving a quality finishing result. The pad can also be used with other suitable finishing or medium-cut polishing compounds, following the manufacturer’s recommendations.

The pad is designed for use with DA / random orbital polishing machines and Gear Driven polishing tools. It is suitable for the RUPES BigFoot system, including LHR, HLR, Mini, Duetto and Mille series polishers, selecting the correct pad size according to the backing plate and working area.

    Use:

Choose the correct pad size according to the polishing machine, backing plate and polishing area. Apply a small amount of polishing compound, such as RUPES D-A FINE, onto a clean RUPES D-A FINE pad. Polish small sections using the correct speed, pressure and movement according to the surface condition and polishing compound recommendations.

During work, clean the pad regularly with compressed air, a vacuum cleaner or a dedicated pad cleaning tool. A clean pad works more consistently, clogs less and helps achieve a better finish.

Do not use too much compound – an overloaded pad may cut less effectively, heat up faster and leave a less clean finish. After use, wash or clean the pad according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and leave it to dry.

    Note:

Before use on sensitive, very soft, repainted or unfamiliar surfaces, it is recommended to test on a less visible area. The final result depends on the clear coat type, polishing compound, pad size, machine, pressure, speed and working technique.
