  • RUPES High Performance D-A ULTRA-FINE White Polishing Pad is a professional ultra-soft finishing pad designed for high-quality final polishing and maximum gloss on painted surfaces.

This white RUPES D-A ULTRA-FINE pad belongs to the High Performance foam pad range and is designed for work where aggressive cutting is not required, but an extremely gentle finishing step is needed. It is ideal for very soft, sensitive, dark or haze-prone clear coats, where the wrong pad can leave micro-marring, light haze or holograms.

The D-A ULTRA-FINE pad is used in the final polishing stage when deep gloss, maximum clarity and a clean visual finish are required after correction or medium polishing. It can also be used for removing extremely fine surface defects or for applying protective products such as sealants or waxes.

RUPES recommends using this pad with UNO PURE polishing compound when the goal is to remove ultra-fine defects and achieve a high-level show car finish. The pad can also be used with other suitable finishing compounds or protective products, following the manufacturer’s recommendations.

The pad is designed for DA / random orbital polishing machines and Gear Driven tools. It is suitable for the RUPES BigFoot system, including iBrid, LHR, Mini, Duetto and Mille series polishers, selecting the correct pad size according to the backing plate and working area.

    Available size options:

    Use:

Choose the correct pad size according to the polishing machine, backing plate and polishing area. Apply a small amount of finishing compound, such as RUPES UNO PURE, onto a clean RUPES D-A ULTRA-FINE pad. Polish small sections using the correct speed, pressure and movement according to the compound and surface condition.

During work, clean the pad regularly with compressed air, a vacuum cleaner or a dedicated pad cleaning tool to maintain consistent polishing performance and a clean finish. Do not use too much compound, as an overloaded pad may perform worse and leave an unclean finish.

If the pad is used for applying wax or sealant, use only a small amount of product and spread the protective product evenly according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

    Note:

Avoid solvent-based cleaners or compounds that may damage the foam structure. Before use on sensitive, repainted or very soft surfaces, it is recommended to test on a less visible area. The final result depends on the clear coat type, polishing compound, machine, pad size, working technique and surface condition.
