  • RUPES MULTIPURPOSE Paper Sanding Discs 150 mm, 100 pcs are professional multi-purpose paper-backed sanding discs designed for efficient dry sanding, surface preparation and defect removal.

These discs are designed for wide use in automotive body repair, paint preparation, woodworking, industrial, marine and aviation applications. They are suitable for jobs where old paint needs to be removed, putty needs to be shaped, primer needs to be sanded, or the surface needs to be levelled and prepared for further processing.

RUPES MULTIPURPOSE Paper 150 mm discs are made with a latex-reinforced paper backing and additional chemical fibres. This backing provides good flexibility, strength and tear resistance, allowing the disc to adapt well to curved, uneven and more complex surface shapes.

The even distribution of abrasive grains helps achieve a consistent and controlled sanding pattern. This is important when shaping putty, sanding primer or preparing the surface before painting.

The stearate coating helps reduce disc clogging, improves dust extraction and extends disc service life. As a result, the sanding performance remains more stable, while the work becomes cleaner and more efficient.

The 150 mm size is convenient for larger surfaces, automotive body panels, primed areas, putty, painted surfaces, wood, composites and gelcoat processing. The 15-hole layout helps remove dust efficiently when working with random orbital sanding machines and dust extraction.

The pack contains 100 sanding discs. Grit is selected in the product options, making it easy to choose the correct option according to the work stage and sanding surface.

    Available grit options:

P40 – for very coarse sanding and fast material removal

P60 – for coarse surface processing

P80 – for initial sanding, old paint removal or putty sanding

    P100 – for surface shaping

    P120 – for preparation sanding

    P150 – for intermediate sanding

    P180 – for surface levelling

P220 – for finer intermediate sanding

P240 – for finer surface preparation

P280 – for preparation before even finer sanding

P320 – for fine intermediate sanding

P400 – for final fine preparation

P500 – for very fine surface levelling before further work

    Use:

Choose the correct grit according to the surface condition, material and work stage. Attach the disc to a compatible sanding machine or backing pad. Use for dry sanding, preferably with dust extraction. Work with even movements, avoid excessive pressure and regularly check the surface result. After sanding, remove dust and continue with a finer grit, paint preparation or another surface processing stage.

    Note:

Coarser grits remove material faster but leave more visible sanding marks. Finer grits are intended for surface levelling and preparation before further work. Before using on sensitive, thin, non-standard or unknown surfaces, test first on a less visible area.
