  • RUPES PROCUT FILM abrasive sheets with plastic backing 70x200 mm are professional sanding sheets designed for dry surface sanding, defect removal, surface preparation and levelling.

The PROCUT FILM range is designed for jobs where fast, stable and controlled sanding is required. The PET film made on a plastic backing helps maintain more even abrasive performance, better surface contact and a more reliable result compared with standard paper abrasives.

These 70x200 mm sanding sheets are suitable for automotive body preparation, sanding filler, primer, old paint, clear coat, gelcoat, wood and composite materials. They can be used for defect removal, surface levelling, shaping, preparation before painting and further surface refinement.

Ceramic abrasives provide efficient cutting and stable performance, especially in coarser grits where fast material removal or surface levelling is required. The even grain distribution helps control sanding marks and achieve a more uniform surface result.

The stearate coating helps reduce abrasive clogging with sanding dust and improves dust removal during work. This is especially important when working with primer, filler or other materials that can quickly clog the sanding surface.

The 70x200 mm format is convenient for use with suitable manual sanding blocks or compatible sanding tools. This size allows comfortable work on larger surfaces as well as body panels, edges, shapes and preparation areas.

    Available grit options:

P40 – for coarse sanding, stronger material removal and surface shaping

P60 – for coarse surface preparation and removing uneven areas

P80 – for sanding filler, primer or old coatings

P120 – for intermediate sanding and surface levelling

P180 – for finer preparation before further sanding stages

P220 – for surface refinement and finer preparation

P280 – for fine sanding before painting or priming work

P320 – for gentler surface preparation and reducing sanding marks

    Use:

Choose the correct grit according to the job and surface condition. Coarser grits such as P40, P60 or P80 are suitable for heavier material removal, shaping filler or removing old coatings. Finer grits such as P180, P220, P280 or P320 are suitable for surface refinement and preparation for further stages.

Attach the sheet to a compatible sanding block or sanding tool. Sand with even movements without overloading the surface with excessive pressure. During work, regularly remove dust from the surface and abrasive to achieve a more even sanding result.

    Note:

Before use on sensitive, thin, soft or unfamiliar surfaces, it is recommended to test on a less visible area. The final result depends on surface type, selected grit, tool used, pressure, dust extraction and working technique.
