  • RUPES Rotary FINE Yellow Polishing Foam Pad is a professional yellow polishing pad designed for use with rotary polishing machines.

This RUPES FINE pad is designed for medium-level paint correction and gloss restoration. It helps remove medium surface defects, lighter scratches, polishing marks, oxidation residue and other clear coat imperfections when the most aggressive cutting pad is not required.

The yellow FINE pad is often used after a heavier cutting stage or as a one-step solution when the surface is not heavily damaged. It helps achieve a cleaner, smoother and glossier result, making it suitable for professional detailing work, automotive workshops, paint correction and paint preparation areas.

The pad is made from foam specially designed for rotary polishing. The open-cell structure helps reduce excessive heat build-up, which often occurs when working with a rotary polishing machine. This allows better control of the polishing process and helps reduce the risk of surface overheating.

RUPES Rotary FINE Yellow pad works especially well with RUPES BigFoot Fine Rotary polishing compound, but it can also be used with other medium-cut or finishing polishing compounds suitable for rotary polishing.

The pad profile helps reduce the risk of accidental backing plate contact with the polished surface. This is especially important when working on edges, curved surfaces, narrow areas and more sensitive body panels.

    Available size options:

75 mm – for smaller areas, narrow spaces, bumpers, pillars, edges and local defects

125 mm – for universal work on medium-sized surfaces, doors, wings, bonnet and boot areas

150 mm – for larger surfaces and faster work on bonnets, roofs, doors, side panels and other larger areas

    RUPES technical size equivalents:

75 mm option corresponds closely to RUPES Ø75/90 mm, code 9.BR90M

125 mm option corresponds closely to RUPES Ø130/135 mm, code 9.BR150M

150 mm option corresponds closely to RUPES Ø155/160 mm, code 9.BR180M

    Use:

Choose the correct pad size according to the polishing area and backing pad. Before polishing, prime the pad evenly with a small amount of polishing compound. Work with a rotary polishing machine using controlled pressure and regularly check the surface temperature and result.

Do not overload the pad with compound – too much product can reduce polishing efficiency and make surface wipe-off more difficult. During use, clean the pad regularly with compressed air, a vacuum cleaner or a dedicated pad cleaning tool.

After use, wash with warm water and mild soap, rinse well and leave to dry naturally.

    Note:

Before using on sensitive, thin, repainted or unknown surfaces, it is recommended to test on a less visible area. When working with a rotary machine, heat must be controlled and excessive pressure should be avoided, especially on edges and sensitive surfaces.
