RUPES SKORPIO E2 RX Random Orbital Sander + 300 Sanding Discs is a professional sanding kit designed for vehicle body preparation, paint and repair work, surface levelling and finishing sanding.

SKORPIO E2 RX is an electric random orbital sander with a brushless motor. This type of motor ensures efficient power transfer, stable operation and consistent performance even under higher load. It is a convenient solution for professionals who need a reliable, quiet and easy-to-control sanding tool.

The sander features optimised ergonomics, good balance and compact construction. Due to its low weight and low vibration level, it is comfortable to use for longer periods, while precise control helps achieve an even sanding result on different surfaces.

The 150 mm MULTIHOLE backing pad allows the use of sanding discs with dust extraction. When connected to a suitable dust extraction system, the work area stays cleaner, dust is reduced and sanding control is improved.

RUPES SKORPIO E2 RX is suitable for sanding filler, primer, painted surfaces, clear coat, body panels and other suitable surfaces. It is especially useful for body repair workshops, paint preparation areas, service centres, detailing centres and professional refinishing work.

Depending on the selected version, different orbit options are available. The 3 mm orbit is intended more for finishing sanding and use with finer abrasives from P320 and finer. The 6 mm orbit is designed for more efficient material removal and a good balance between sanding performance and surface quality, usually with P120–P320 sanding discs.

The included 300 sanding discs allow work to begin immediately and provide a selection of grits for common body preparation stages. This is a convenient kit when both the sanding machine and a starter abrasive set are needed.

Use:

Before work, choose the correct sanding disc grit for the sanding stage. Place the disc accurately on the 150 mm backing pad so that the dust extraction holes align.

Connect a dust extraction system if used. This helps reduce dust, improves visibility and helps keep sanding discs effective for longer.

Set the correct speed according to the surface, sanding disc grit and work being carried out. Work with even movements, do not overload the tool and do not allow one area to overheat.

During sanding, hold the sander steadily without excessive pressure. Let the tool and sanding disc do the work — too much pressure can reduce the quality of the result, wear sanding discs faster and increase the risk of surface damage.

After work, remove the sanding disc, clean the backing pad and check that the dust extraction holes are not blocked. Store the tool in a clean, dry place.

Note:

Before use, select the correct combination of orbit and sanding disc grit according to the work being carried out. When working with sanding tools, dust extraction, respiratory protection, eye protection and hearing protection are recommended. Before sanding sensitive or unknown surfaces, test in a less visible area.
