The 3M 4251+ is a lightweight, maintenance-free half mask respirator with integrated filters. It is designed to provide respiratory protection during painting, sanding, gluing and cleaning work.
The A1 activated carbon filters help protect against certain organic gases and vapours released by solvent-based paints, adhesives and cleaning products. The P2 filters capture at least 94% of airborne particles and help protect against medium levels of fine dust and oil- or water-based mists.
The low-profile design provides a wide field of vision, while the soft face seal and adjustable straps help ensure a comfortable fit. Twin inhalation valves and the central 3M exhalation valve help reduce breathing resistance and the build-up of heat and moisture inside the mask.
The respirator is supplied fully assembled and ready to use. Its integrated filters cannot be replaced. The complete respirator can be used until the gas filters become saturated, the particulate filters become clogged or the product is damaged. A resealable storage bag is included for hygienic storage between uses.
