CARSYSTEM Mirlon / Sanding Fleece V.19 is a professional sanding fleece roll designed for manual surface preparation before further body repair and painting work. It is a 115 mm wide and 10 m long roll that can be easily cut to the required length and used on various surface shapes.

Sanding Fleece V.19 has a three-dimensional sanding fleece structure, where synthetic resin penetrates through the entire fleece structure and distributes the abrasive grain throughout the material. The product size is 115 mm x 10 m, the material is nylon fibre and the abrasive grain is aluminium oxide.

Sanding fleece is used for surface matting and scuffing before applying filler, primer or paint. It is especially useful where regular sanding paper or a sanding disc is less convenient: in corners, rounded areas, edges, profiles, recesses, around mouldings, door edges, bumper shapes and other hard-to-reach areas.

CARSYSTEM V.19 sanding fleece roll is available in two types: Very fine / red and Ultra fine / grey. Red Very fine fleece is recommended before applying filler, while grey Ultra fine fleece is recommended before painting.

Thanks to its flexible three-dimensional fibre structure, the fleece adapts well to the surface shape and allows even scuffing of difficult areas. This helps improve the adhesion of the following layers and reduces the risk of paint, primer or filler not bonding properly to a glossy or insufficiently prepared surface.

CARSYSTEM Sanding Fleece V.19 is suitable for wet and dry use. It is also suitable for use together with CARSYSTEM matting pastes.

The sanding fleece roll is practical because it allows you to cut only the amount needed for the specific job. Smaller pieces are convenient for small parts, corners or local areas, while longer strips can be used for larger areas, edges or profiled parts.

Before work, clean the surface from dirt, dust, grease and silicone residue.
Mat the surface with even movements without excessive pressure.
Work carefully on corners and edges to scuff the surface evenly.

After matting, clean the surface from dust and residue and degrease before the next work stage.
