RUPES Velcro backing plate for LHR ES / LHR II / LHR III

RUPES Velcro backing plate for LHR ES / LHR II / LHR III is a replacement backing plate designed for RUPES BigFoot LHR series DA / random orbital polishing machines. It is used to attach polishing pads with Velcro / hook-and-loop fastening to the polishing machine.

The backing plate is an important part of the polishing machine because it affects polishing pad grip, work stability, vibration control and even contact with the surface. A worn, damaged or poorly holding Velcro surface can lead to weaker pad attachment, increased vibration, uneven polishing or faster wear of polishing pads.

This RUPES backing plate is intended for LHR ES, LHR Mark II and LHR Mark III series polishing machines. It can be used to replace a worn original backing plate, refresh the tool or adapt the machine for use with polishing pads of the correct size.
