GOLDCAR KDM Brushable Body Seam Sealer 1 kg

GOLDCAR KDM is a solvent- and synthetic rubber-based body seam sealer designed for brush application. It is suitable for sealing continuous and spot-welded seams, bonded joints and the edges of vehicle body panels.

The sealer can be used on steel and properly prepared plastic surfaces. It is suitable for seams and joints in the front and rear sections of the body, boots, floors, wheel arches and other bodywork areas.

Once dry, the coating remains flexible, does not crack and forms an effective barrier against water, moisture and corrosion. The sealer is also resistant to mineral oils and can be overpainted with different types of automotive paint.

Directions for use:

The surface must be clean, dry and thoroughly degreased. Apply the sealer using a stiff-bristled brush. Before the product fully hardens, its surface can be shaped with the brush to reproduce the required factory texture.

The recommended application temperature is between +15 °C and +35 °C. At 25 °C, initial curing takes approximately 3–4 minutes. A layer approximately 1 mm thick fully cures within 24 hours.

Overpaint only after the sealer has dried completely, preferably after 24 hours.
