Gekatex KNIT90 antistatic tack dust cleaning cloth 220 x 500 mm is a professional surface preparation cloth designed for removing dust and particles before painting, clear coating, coating application, laminating or other surface finishing processes. It helps collect dust, particles and processing residue left on the surface, which can affect paint, clear coat or coating adhesion and the final surface quality.

KNIT90 / TRPE90 is a 100% polyester special-knit cloth with a tacky formula. The 90 g/m² weight and 220 x 500 mm size make it convenient for cleaning larger surface areas, while the stable knitted structure is suitable for use in critical surface preparation zones.

The cloth is designed for removing medium and larger particles in industrial and automotive painting / preparation work. It is recommended for removing dust particles from P1200 and finer sanding operations. This is useful before applying basecoat, clear coat, primer, paint, coatings or other finishing materials, when fine sanding and processing dust must be removed from the surface.

The tacky formula allows the cloth to collect and hold dust, lint and fine particles. Medium tackiness helps maintain a good balance between particle collection and low risk of material transfer onto the surface.

Application:
Before painting, clear coating or coating application, the surface should be dry, sanded and degreased according to the preparation process. Lightly wipe the surface with the Gekatex KNIT90 cloth without applying excessive pressure. The cloth is designed to collect dust and fine particles, so it should not be used as a regular wet cleaning cloth. When one side of the cloth becomes filled with dust, use a clean side. Do not use on wet, uncured or chemically unprepared surfaces.
