RS Plasticizer for Increasing the Flexibility of 2K Primers and Clearcoats 1 L

QRS Plasticizer is a professional flexibility-enhancing additive for two-component polyurethane primers and MS/HS clearcoats.

The additive increases the flexibility of the cured coating, making it suitable for painting plastic automotive parts such as bumpers, trim components, spoilers and other parts exposed to movement or deformation.

A more flexible coating adapts better to the movement of the plastic part. This helps reduce the risk of cracking, delamination and chipping caused by stone impacts.

QRS Plasticizer is suitable for compatible 2K polyurethane primers and MS/HS clearcoats, including QRS Anti-Scratch Clear, QRS Basic Filler and QRS Fast Filler.

Mixing:

Add 20% QRS Plasticizer to Component A and mix thoroughly. Only then add the hardener and thinner according to the technical data sheet of the primer or clearcoat being used.

Example: add 200 ml of QRS Plasticizer to 1 litre of Component A. Then add the required hardener and thinner according to the technical specifications of the main product.

Application:

Application method, number of coats and flash-off times must follow the technical data sheet of the primer or clearcoat used with the plasticizer.

Important:

• The plasticizer must not be used as a standalone coating.
• Check compatibility with the selected primer or clearcoat before use.
• The additive extends the drying time of the main product by approximately 10–15%.
• Infrared drying is not recommended.
• Store at a temperature between 5 and 25°C.
