Menzerna Heavy Cut Compound 400 Green Line is a heavy-cut polishing compound for automotive clear coat, designed for fast removal of scratches, oxidation, wear marks and deeper paint defects. Menzerna Heavy Cut Compound 400 Green Line polishing compound is a heavy-cut correction compound designed for removing automotive clear coat defects and restoring surface gloss. It is used when scratches, oxidation, wear marks, dullness or other more visible paint defects need to be removed effectively.
Heavy Cut Compound 400 Green Line is a VOC-free polishing compound according to DIN EN ISO 11890-2, free from hazardous volatile solvents and without unpleasant solvent odour. The compound removes scratches quickly and leaves a glossy surface during polishing, so it can be used as the first correction step or as a one-step solution, depending on the paint condition. Menzerna specifies cut and gloss rating as 8/8.
Menzerna HCC 400 Green Line uses diminishing abrasives, which allow the compound to cut effectively at the beginning of the polishing cycle and gradually finish the surface to a glossier result. This is convenient for professional detailing work, used car preparation, paintwork restoration and clear coat correction.
The compound is suitable for rotary and orbital polishing machines. For stronger cutting, it can be used with wool, microfibre or firm Heavy Cut polishing pads. For lighter defects or a finer finish, a softer pad can be selected, or a medium / finishing polishing compound can be used after this step.

Application:
Before polishing, wash and prepare the surface thoroughly. Shake the bottle well and apply a small amount of compound to the selected polishing pad. Work with a rotary or orbital polishing machine using crosswise movements. Start with lower speed and higher pressure, then reduce pressure during the final passes and increase speed if needed. Remove polishing residue with a clean microfibre cloth. For a higher final finish, follow with a medium or finishing polishing compound.
