3M Trizact sanding disc P1000 150 mm is a professional sanding disc designed for automotive clear coat, painted surfaces and body repair work before further sanding or polishing. P1000 grit is used when surface imperfections, clear coat defects, dust inclusions, paint or clear coat runs, orange peel and other defects need to be removed before the next correction stages.

3M Trizact technology features a structured abrasive surface that wears more evenly during work than conventional sanding discs. This helps maintain a more consistent sanding result, reduce the risk of deeper random scratches and achieve more controlled surface processing.

The 150 mm diameter is convenient for use with orbital sanders and suitable for larger body panels such as bonnets, doors, wings, roofs or boot lids. The disc can be used in automotive painting, clear coating, body repair, surface preparation and paint correction processes.

Application:
Attach the 3M Trizact P1000 150 mm disc to a compatible orbital sander or suitable backing pad. Sand the surface with controlled pressure, avoid overheating the clear coat and check the result regularly. After the P1000 stage, continue with finer sanding discs to reduce sanding marks and prepare the surface for polishing. Before polishing, clean the surface thoroughly from sanding residue.
