RUPES Rotary WAFFLE COARSE Heavy Cut Polishing Foam Pad is a professional blue heavy-cut foam pad designed for use with rotary polishing machines.

This RUPES WAFFLE COARSE pad is the most aggressive pad in the Rotary Waffle range. It is designed for aggressive correction of painted surfaces when severe clear coat defects, oxidation, deeper scratches, sanding marks, surface damage or other visible paint imperfections need to be removed.

The waffle surface design helps provide greater stability during rotary polishing. Because the pad surface does not fully contact the painted surface at once, it runs cooler and helps reduce the risk of paint overheating. This is especially important when working with a rotary polishing machine, where heat builds up faster than with a random orbital machine.

RUPES WAFFLE COARSE pad offers strong cutting power and is suitable for jobs where visible surface defects need to be reduced or removed quickly and effectively. It works especially well with RUPES Rotary Coarse polishing compound, but it can also be used with other heavy-cut compounds suitable for rotary polishing.

The waffle surface design provides a smoother polishing feel and greater user comfort. The pad helps control the movement of the rotary polisher more easily, reduces surface heat and allows more stable work on larger areas.

This pad is suitable for automotive paint correction, detailing work, workshops, paint preparation areas, body repair shops and professional polishing. It is recommended when strong cutting power and efficient defect removal are required before a medium or finishing polishing stage.

Use:

Choose the correct pad size according to the polishing area and backing pad. Before polishing, prime the pad evenly with a small amount of heavy-cut polishing compound. Work with a rotary polishing machine using controlled pressure and regularly check the surface temperature and result.

Do not overload the pad with compound – too much product can reduce cutting efficiency, increase sling and make surface wipe-off more difficult. During use, clean the pad regularly with compressed air, a vacuum cleaner or a dedicated pad cleaning tool.

After use, wash with warm water and mild soap, rinse well and leave to dry naturally.

Note:

This is an aggressive / heavy-cut polishing pad, so it is not intended for final finishing or hologram removal. After the heavy cutting stage, it is usually recommended to use a medium or finishing polishing pad. Before using on sensitive, thin, repainted or unknown surfaces, it is recommended to test on a less visible area. When working with a rotary machine, heat must be controlled and excessive pressure should be avoided, especially on edges and sensitive surfaces.
